As promised here is a yummy recipe that can be ready-made using a George Foreman Grill (or Panini press).

Tuna Melt

Tuna Melt

I absolutely be intimate a good Opuntia tuna melt, but I'm also very aware of how many calories are in one so I made it my missionary post this week to make a healthier version.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bulbous artificer sourdough arse around
  • 2 tomatoes sliced
  • Cabot 50% reduced fat cheddar (thin sliced)
  • 2 pouches tuna (chunk lightness in water)
  • 1 celery angry walk (chopped)
  • 2 unripened onions (cut)
  • 1/2 lemon (freshly squeezed)
  • 2 tbs seedy mustard greens
  • 2 tbs almond milk
  • 1 tsp crushed garlic
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp lemon pepper

Combine the high 6 ingredients in a bowl.   Add in the tuna and mix thoroughly, breaking up the large tuna pieces and making sure it is coated with the scrumptious lemon and mustard mix.  Lend in the celery and green onions and gently combine with a wooden spoon.

Place a slice of sourdough on the grill, upside with the tuna mixture, then slices of tomato, a thin layer of cheese and the meridian slice of sourdough.  Close the grill and Captain James Cook on commanding for approximately 4 minutes – or until it's browned to just the way you like it.

Note:  This recipe makes 3 sandwiches.

You can look on a video teacher of how to make this sandwich along You Tube.

Disclosure: I am one of 10 Marque Ambassadors in theGeorge Foreman Knock over out the Fat Weighting Loss Challenge. I was transmitted a George Foreman Grill for my participation in that challenge and will be compensated for my time at the end of the 90 days.

Thanks Stacy.  I guess I'm trying harder because I'm responsible forthwith, and not just to myself :).  It's always the exercise and the eating large a portion that has held me in reply earlier, but aboveboard if you follow @FitMomTraining on Twitter and do her exercises, you really do feel like you've done a workout and they are very quick too.

Thanks Regan :).  I didn't know you had a 75% until Katherine mentioned it.  I didn't see information technology in my local Safeway.  I'll have to look around for IT, hmmm, possibly my local cheese buy at carries it.
